Good Morning. We tend to feel annoyed when something undesirable has happened . In such situations, first, be aware and acknowledge how you are feeling. Second, ask yourself why exactly you feel annoyed? Is it really because of what someone said, or because they did not say what you wanted them to? A big ‘virus’ that causes us to experience the 'dis-ease' of anger is the false belief that others should do as we want them to do. Check, if you did not have this belief, would you become angry if they did not do as you wanted them to do? The truth is that we are all free spirits. "I do not control others, nor do they control me". We need to recognize that like musical notes we are all different. Only when we are able to harmonize with others can we create a beautiful tune. If the day beings with our thoughts scattered in many different directions or with anxiety about a situation to occur later in the day,it will prove difficult to maintain a positive attitude through out the day. This is because our first series of thoughts in the morning sets the pattern for the whole day.If we do not use the early morning hours to sort out our thoughts,what other time in the day will we find to perform such a task. To sort out thoughts there needs to be clarity in the intellect. We have to check and see if there are any wasteful thoughts and,if there are, then we need to remove them by adopting a positive and pure attitude. Wasteful and negative thoughts are created by a weak mind,they are only paper tigers,instead of battling them, we should simply create pure, positive thoughts which will automatically displace the weak, wasteful ones. Good Morning . Perhaps we have not yet realized that it is impossible to control others and make them change. The lack of awareness and realization of this truth does not let us become anger-free . People will always make their own decisions and control their own actions. They can definitely be influenced, but they cannot be controlled. When our internal desire of a certain type of behavior from people is not fulfilled, or in other words something against the above belief happens, our instant reaction is one of resentment or irritation or frustration or hatred which are all forms of anger.
